In this session you will be learning about how to integrate technology into the Chinese curriculum and how to let your students get ready for eAssesment in the coming IBDP new syllabus in 2018. We will cover the basics like how to assess listening, speaking,reading and writing by eAssessment and how to give feedback to students on line.
Next we will go in depth to see what we can do with IBDP Chinese new eAssessment at school. We will be covering using eAssessment as formative/summative assessment tool.

This session will provide teachers with the skills and resources to introduce a unit of learning using MIT's new android based software App Inventor 2. We will actually make about 4-6 apps in the session and then I will explain all the resources I have built up over the last 3 years teaching and how they can best used by my fellow colleagues. I This session will be ideal for teachers who already have experience in Scratch or some other block building coding software. An android phone would be helpful for testing purposes but a number of Nexus tablets will be available for testing purposes.
